Dear Community: Maryland State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Salmon this morning announced that she is extending the closure of all public schools in Maryland for an additional four weeks. Happy Friday and Happy Valentine’s Day! I would like to thank the MHMS PTA for sponsoring the Annual Valentine’s Gift Shop this week. For a nominal cost, students were able to select from a variety of fun merchandise that the PTA had on display during the lunch shifts. Last Thursday, HCPSS Superintendent, Dr. Martirano visited Murray Hill Middle School. Last week was a great week at Murray Hill Middle School! Our Beginning Band, Concert Band, and Big Band hosted their Winter Concert, more than 30 students participated in the MHMS Spelling Bee, and 8th grade students worked diligently to complete their high school course selections.
