News From The Hill SCHOOL NEWS MHMS Dress Code Expectations: We are noticing that a lot of students are wearing crop tops, that have a tendency to expose their midriff’s. Clothing that exposes skin in this way is not allowed at Murray Hill Middle School. If a student chooses to wear this type of shirt, it is suggested that they wear a shirt of some kind underneath so that skin is not exposed or that they wear a jacket that remains zipped during the time that they are in school. Thank you for your support in reinforcing this expectation. Yankee Candle Fundraiser: The MHMS Yankee Candle Fundraiser started! Students should have brought home fundraiser packets yesterday. The fundraiser will run through April 6th. Orders should be delivered before Mother’s Day!!! See the attached flyer for more information on supporting our fundraiser. We have had an overwhelming amount of support from our 8th grade families for our next field trip to the Museum of African American History and Culture. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to chaperone. After a lottery selection, we have reached our quota of chaperones. Those adults selected to chaperone have already been notified by Ms. Schaefer.
